Welcome to the Fiji Beekeepers Association
The FBA is an inclusive organization that welcomes beekeepers of all backgrounds, whether they are small-scale hobbyists, commercial honey producers, or individuals with a vested interest in beekeeping. We strive to create a collaborative community where beekeepers can share knowledge, access training, and strengthen their operations while contributing to the health of Fiji’s pollinators and honey industry.

What We Do
Advocacy & Representation
We work with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders to develop policies that support and protect Fiji’s beekeeping sector.
Education & Training
We offer workshops, field days, and training programs covering topics such as hive management, queen breeding, disease prevention, and honey quality standards.
Research & Innovation
We promote scientific research and technological advancements in beekeeping to improve productivity and honey quality.
Networking & Community
We facilitate connections among beekeepers, businesses, and experts to create opportunities for growth and collaboration.
Sustainability & Conservation
We encourage environmentally friendly beekeeping practices and work to protect pollinators, recognizing their essential role in biodiversity and agriculture.
The Fiji Beekeepers Association (FBA) is a non-profit organization established as a national body to represent the Fiji Beekeepers.
Membership Eligibility
Membership is open to all beekeepers who own five or more hives. Additionally, individuals or companies with a personal or commercial interest in beekeeping are welcome to join under the appropriate membership category.
Categories of Membership
There are four categories of membership within the Fiji Beekeepers Association:
Financial Members
Full voting rights at general meetings and access to all association benefits.
Non-Financial Members
No voting rights but may participate in association activities and events.
Honorary Members
Individuals recognized for their exceptional contributions to beekeeping, appointed at the discretion of the association.
Ex-Officio Members
Individuals holding key positions in government or related institutions, providing advisory support to the association.
